Default Need new sway bar links...

Went on a road trip to Toronto, halfway through excursion i hit a pothole around the 401, knew something was amiss. Got back thursday(yes, i continued on). And yea, the left is bad. Dunno if its possible to upload vids here.
Did an estimate. 98$ all together. 14 each for links, 28 each for labor, and 4 for an insulator for the muffler.

Good/Bad deal? Better to replace myself? Me and my brother put in a ZZP perfm' CAI. And what tools do we need?

I did that job on my monte last year and it was pretty easy to install after following instructions. Just standard tools are needed! Oh....make sure you use a floor jack to hold the knuckle in place because it helps guides the link right in. Also, its wise to change both sides instead of one side because you don't know how worn the other side is after the new one in installed.... Just a lil advice if it helps!

Good luck on your repairs!!!!!!!

I say do it yourself, it's a pretty easy job with basic hand tools

daaaang, $14 for those links? Your being overcharged.

Got mine at work(autozone) for 4 bucks each. Very easy to do. Hardest part was getting the center plastic spacer off, but thats about it.

Thanx for the help guyz.
Damn, i did pay for it. My fam' always say they're going to help me, but almost nevr do. I'm just an amateur gear-head.
Supposedly i over-paid for getting my spark plugs replaced-$240-. U guys told me it was a rip-off. But i just dont have the knowledge to pull this **** off myself.

I'll be asking for help latr, wouldn't mind putting in front/rear strut tower braces.
