Default Strange knocking sound

Hey everyone, so over the last few days I have been trying to find out what is going on but I can't seem to find the source of the sound. So when I trurn to the right there will be a "knocking" sound that actually almost sounds like the tire is hitting something but my new wheels are stock size and I have stock size tires. So I don't think that is it. Now when I turn really hard to the right my power steering pump whines like crazy. Could it be related to that maybe?

With any GM car I always recommend taking a look at the intermediate steering shaft and pack it with grease and go from there. I just did mine the other day. Seemed to help out a little but I still have a little pop in something at low speeds in the suspension.
