Default Replacing Struts with Quick struts

Im in a bit of a pickle. I have a 2003 LS, and although the original specs for suspension are for 16 inch rims, whoever had it before me put 18's on and didnt bother increasing the suspension. Im going to use a quick strut assembly to replace the rear ones, but every set i look at says that i cant use it on 18 inch rims. Where can i get a quick strut assembly without having to increase suspension?

What size tire is on your 18s

You should be able to run a 245/45/18 tire no problem on your car.

If you look at the overall diameter of the tire size. As long as its the same or lower it will fit, it's not necessary the "rim diameter" but tire size that's the issue. Also, if you check out the RPM (revolutions per mile,) on your SPECIFIC TIRE SIZE, as well as the "Spec" tires it came with (the 16”) as long as the number is the same or higher, they will fit. (Worked at Goodyear as a Manager for over 16 years and dealt with this issue ALL the time). YOu can get this information at almost any tire website. Here's a link to a generic tire size for example...... http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp. (Just put in the tire size info on the old, then on the new) Just an FYI.. Mjc...
