I was wondering if any of you guys(girls) knew where to get cheap quick struts. My monte has 140k on it and never had the struts replaced. The handling is not great as you can imagine. Im pretty sure I can do the work myself, I just dont want to pay the 200.00 a quick strut I was quoted at Pep boys.

Also on a side note when installing the quick struts its basically just loosen the bolts, remove the old and pop in the new correct? Then alignment correct?

Go to Amazon...you can get Monroe or KYB for pretty cheap. You may need to go to a site like www.tirerack.com and look up the stuts on there (compair prices) and also get the part number. Copy past the part number into Amazon and you should get some hits.

Definitely get an alignment after struts.
