Default Replacing front sway bar.

Has anyone on here replaced the front sway bar? I have before a couple times on my 96 camaro I used to have and it was no big deal. I was reading up on this swap out and read that I have to lower the frame? WTF really? Don't you just undo the endlinks, middle bushings, and replace? I just plan on using a stock replacement bar from GMPP.

Any tips, tricks, etc.

I have a 2000 Monte btw. Thanks

Just from memory I think it goes over the engine cradle and there is not enough clearance to slide it out. Just my guess tho I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks for the reply. I talked to my mechanic buddy and he said it can be done if you wiggle and work it through. Ill try it that way first.

Thanks

I did it myself just by wiggling it out. It's a little hard by oneself but some help should go faster.
