For my 2000 Monte carlo 3.8L V6, when I am almost to a complete stop it feels like the brake pad slips against the caliper and you can hear it. I had the caliper replaced with a rebuild and put new disc rotors and pads on. That side still wears away the brake pad. Is it something other than a caliper that is causing this like the ABS or proportioning valve? I am not sure why it's slipping.
