Default Rear tire touching strut

My drivers side rear tire is touching the bottom of my strut housing that holds the spring.
The car alignment is dead on the rim and tire size is 235/50/R18 on 18" alloy rims.
Cn anyone tell me how to solve this issue? I bought some 1/4 inch spacer but lugs are to short.

Sounds as if you have the wrong offset of wheels on the car. A spacer is probably the only solution at this point. Getting longer studs installed into the hub's is definitely the cheapest route .

Are they aftermarket rims - if so, what are the specs? Thats stock tire size and wheel diameter so they should fit with stock wheels or aftermarket wheels with the right size.

As mentioned above, you can buy extended studs. Ive got some from ARP. But it depends how bad they hit if thats an option or not.

Thank you for your reply. I took the car to a suspension shop for a inspection, and found out that the drivers side rear strut is bent. The struts are less than a year old.
So I will have a replacement installed. Again thanks for your time and response

Was able to do it all myself with stuff I had in my garage! Saves me hundreds.
