Hey just gonna say my part becasue I am also looking at the rear brake upgrade kit from ZZP, but also some years back a member told me about doing a rear brake conversion from any 04+ GXP, I've been keeping my eye open for a salvaged GXP to grab the whole rear hub and spindel assembly with the brakes to see if it's possible. I just havent been able to find one lol.
On another note I have the front brake calipers on my 03 SS done with the C5 Z06 calipers and there is a differance in pedal travel except it's the opposite I hardly touch the brakes and they are engaging, just the way I like it.

 

do u no if the f type calipers will fit the rear of my 02 monte 3.8?
