Default Lowering spring/ strut, or strut and separate springs?

Has anyone used the KYB GR-2 2 inch lowering struts on ZZP, for an LS? Why is it cheaper to get the regular struts + the lowering springs by about 100 bucks? Shortened dog bones are a yes either way right? And does anyone know of a bushing kit for the LS? Its got 56000 and it only has 1 new strut up front from when it got hit.
