Hey guys, I purchased all new suspesion parts this spring including SSC lowering springs and KYB-GR2 struts.... I dont know if im missing something or what but the springs do not sit in the "seated" area of the strut, so they sit in there funny and Im not going to put them in the car that way... I was just wondering if anyone else has used these or if i just got sent the wrong parts???

did you order anti pogo washer? i had the shop installed mine i didn't get a chance to take pic if both end of the spring are same way. maybe you need to flip the other end up???

 

Yes, I ordered anti pogos, new strut plates all around, springs and struts.... I tried every way.... i dont know if I messed something up or what but I tried the springs every way and I got nothing lol. Might have to make a call to ZZP.....

 

I installed SSC springs in my Monte. I still had stock struts though and they fit just fine. I will be getting GR2 struts soon I hope they fit those. I will let you know.

 

Ok, Im taking all my old setup out on sunday (when I get the car out of storage) and I will see whats up when I look at the stock ones.... its hard to visualize when your not looking at the old ones lol

 

the new struts from kyb will help stiffen up your ride and make it feel better going around corners with out as much body roll.

 

Bringing up old thread but which way IS up. I know the small spring goes in front but it just wont sit right. The stock spring top ends at a different location also. I'm in the process of lowering but I'm confused now.
