Default High Miles Club Update

Hey gang,

Just letting y'all know that I am flirting with 140k on the '06. She is running fine and still looking good and I will be buying my 5th set of tires this week. Would like to hear any other similar stories

Peace,
GrandPaDave

My 01' has 202,240 miles but shes going to Chevrolet this week for a new intake and water pump , gonna run me about $1600. She still shifts smooth and runs good, just a couple repairs but what else could you expect for a GM that has over 200k miles

It's not my Monte, but my '94 Grand Am (3100 v6) is at 205,000ish miles! The day I drove it home after it crossed 200K (late summer, early fall), the heater quite literally popped right in my driveway!! Luckily, GM had designed that car to send coolant OUTSIDE the car (my interior was safe) I got a good laugh out of that and then fixed it.

I'm quite proud of that Grand Am, bought it in '03, planned to drive it for 5 years or 200K miles and I've gotten both and it still runs strong! Sadly, body rot is catching up to her, but I think she's got many more miles to give.

My '00 only has 56,3xx on it now. When I bought it in early October I think it was it had 52,xxx. But I drive my Silverado to work most of the time in the Winter. Those miles will start to rack up come Spring/Summer.

My 01 SS just turned 131K. Runs and drive great. With regular maint. I hope to see 200k. From what I have read in this thread I am very confident she will go the distance..
