Stock F-Bodies are on 16" rims. So there should be no issues with clearance.

sorry for bringing an old thread but got a quick ?
im ordering f body calipers and brakes (2002 camaro for ex)
and should i order the brackets for that car as well?
im trying to see if i can avoid drilling and tapping since i will have to go somwhere to pay for that

You need the F-body bracket for the f-body calipers..

You have to drill the F-body Bracket because the W-body uses a bigger bolt then the F-body..LOL


I used my stock rotors you can use stock brake lines all you need to do is bend the brake line bracket to give the line slack.
you need for drill/tap and parts you need to get for the swap. the pic is of a F-body bracket

Love the looks an the stopping power , Its not hard to do, nice mod..



Here's a pic of the stock monte front pad on top
stock front camaro pads on bottom..Camaro pads are bigger..

What about the master cylinder? Do the f-bodies have a bigger master cylinder or maybe even more master cylinders than our cars do? Last but not least what is everyone doing with the rear brakes? I realize its not a big deal since most of us have fwd montes but still just curious as to what you all are doing.
