Default F-body calipers upgrade Done!

I went and upgraded the the f-body calipers on my 2005 Monte LT. I drilled and taped the brackets used the W-body factory hoses. I had to bend the bracket to make sure the hose would not rub.

Very nice improvement, plus I am hoping the brakes hold up longer before I start getting the pedal shake. I was a bit worried about too much brake pedal with the f-body calipers, but it is not a problem. It goes down a little more but hardly noticeable.

I know many have done this before, but I thought I would share my parts list.

New calipers with brackets from amazon with free shipping
Amazon.com: Raybestos FRC10965 Premium Remanufactured Brake Caliper: Automotive $56.10
Amazon.com: Raybestos FRC10966 Premium Remanufactured Brake Caliper: Automotive $56.10

Pads I like Akebono ACT749 ProACT from from amazon with free shipping
Amazon.com: Akebono ACT749 ProACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pad Set: Automotive $67.92

GM no longer sells the Banjo bolts for the f-body without the Hoses. So I found these on Summit racing and they worked great.. You'll need two.
Earl s Performance 977517ERL - Earl's Performance Brake Adapters - Overview - SummitRacing.com $4.69

I used the Cryo-Stop Rotors from Tirerack $49 each (Manufacturer Part #: 120.62058CRY) I already had these on the car so I just got them cut..

Total $287.50 with the rotors.. Not bad at all...

X3

Are the larger calipers going to present a clearance problem with the wheels?
