Default Brake Pistons

Is there a way to check if the pistons on my new f-body brakes work before i actually put them on my car? I got them from the junk yard and they are pretty rusty. This may sound kinda stupid, but i figured id ask.

They come out pretty easy. Clean things up and put them back together. Just make sure you use brake cleaner or/and some brake fluid to do it. Good time to grease the slider pins, also. REAL easy to do.

You know they don't just bolt up, right? You need bushings around your bolts OR you drill and tap the hubs for the larger 12mm? bolts.

air compressor is the best way to take out. there's a thread on clubgp on how to remove the pistons. i'll try to find it for you. if you have air compressor you can try this method cuz it does works. i tried it at my friend's, cover up all the openings tightly on the calipers and stick the air compressor nozzle in the slot where the banjo bolt go in and squeeze the trigger. if you get lucky both will pop out, other wise only one come out. repeat the same thing to get the other one out.

you did get the banjo bolt from the fbody, anti rattle clip (it's the clip go in the middle of the caliper. 2 total) and the 2 clips holding the pads (total 4 clips)
