Default ?Both CV Halfe Shafts have a noticable wabble

I just ordered 2 drive axles left and right for my 2001 montecarloSS.
I noticed a shimmy on Acceleration put it on the lift and noticed the Axles both have a wabble/rotate out of round.. i have read through the tech guide but would like to know if any one has replaced them and if they used a slide hammer to take the passenger side out of the Transmission... And if they used a 2 Jaw puller to separete it from the HUB or just beat it out with a hammer????
ANy knowledgable info would be awsome

Take off the axle nut, separate the lower balljoint then drive the outer CV out of the hub, I usually use a good mallet or plastic hammer, once that is out of the hub I normally pop the shaft out of the trans with a prybar

Job complete everything was easy but those axels wouldn't pry out the tranny.. i had to go back advanced auto parts and get a ball joint seperator its like a fork thats wedged and i put it between the tranny and axle and beat on it to seperate theme kinda tricky but still not bad took me maybe 4 1/2 hrs so better then paying 350 in labor and extra for parts!! I am going to clean it up today and hopefully get some pics posted of the springs and struts i put on it!!
