i'm looking to bump up my handling without getting too crazy in price. the only thing i'm not gonna use in this kit is the STB, gonna get a BMR one... anyone got this kit? or know in general how much itll help? thanks in advance

also, it says the sway bar is for 99-02 montes, and the rear sway bar is for 97-02 gps, and the rear trailing arms and stb are for a 2000-02,
if im not mistaken, shouldnt they all fit a 98 ls? since its all w body?
im kinda lost now...

 

I don't know what you read, but it says the kit is for 1997-2003 Grand Prix's and 2000-2005 Impala's and Monte Carlo's. The reason, I think, that it would not work on a 1999 or older Monte Carlo is because they were 1.5 W bodies, where the 2000 and later Monte Carlo's were 2.0 W bodies, they changed something in the body shape, or suspension setup, and therefore are not interchangeable. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong, but I do remember reading this somewhere.

 

As far as I know, you can't use either sway bar- they're for 2nd gen wbodys.

You can use the STB and trailing arms though.
