Any tips on wheel restoration?
Looking for some repair/restoration solutions for my stock 01SS rims. They have some scratching that I expect won't fully come out, but there are some odd white-ish marks with no texture that I think I can probably get off with the right product/solution. I'm not sure how they got there, or if it was my fault or something on the road. I just randomly noticed them one day.
I plan on getting a nice set of aftermarket rims, but probably not until next year due to the cost, so anything to make these look a little nicer now is definitely a plus.
If pictures would help, I can take some and post them here.
Thanks all!

I would just clean them with a not so harsh cleaner and keep wax on them for now.
If you strip the aluminum, then you have to either keep treating the aluminum or recoat it and that's just too much hassle if you are getting new rims soon

Simple Green or Awesome cleaner do a great job. But yes, you have to stay on top of it when the clear is stripping off the rims.
