Good morning guys.
46 degrees when I left the house this morning.
My Fiance and I attended the Depeche Mode "Global Spirit Tour" concert at DTE this past Sunday. Here's a few videos from that concert others posted - some of my favorite songs of theirs.

Also, Michigan Monte Carlo Club's 6th An. Fall Meet was this past weekend. I was unable to attend but am thankful I have great staff in place to step in when needed. We had 16 cars at this one, our second largest Meet attendance.
Morning guys and gals,
Looking forward to some football myself. Hopefully throw some meat on the fire, and take the kiddos for a little main street cruising. Yall have a safe one.
Well, big news from me....After 35 years as a plumber, the last 27 with the same employer, I retired yesterday. Collected my first pension check today. At age 57 I find myself fortunate that I'm able to do this. All the years of saving pennies in anticipation of this day have finally paid off. Really weird to wake up and realize I don't have a job to go to with an hour to hour-and-a-half commute, and still have a paycheck coming. Plenty of things on the "To do" list. New CV axles, wheel hubs, tie rod ends, control arms and brakes for "lady Jasper" the DD this weekend. I'll repeat the same replacement on "Black Knight II", my current project car next week. Gonna' be so nice to have time to work on my Monte's at my leisure, go where I want when I want and not have to think about work.

Say it's not so................!! Congrats & good for you! Yeah I up and retired back in May of 2017 and then they called for some work in my home state so I said yeah I can help. Besides all the stuff that we ordered to do the remodel of the Master bath was slow coming in. This little bit of work will help pay for all the remodel costs, so that's a good thing.
Just want to pipe in and say that I think it's a great idea to have the Member's Blog monthly instead of daily.
The daily ones just kept getting lost in the big pile that accumulates.
@Plumbob, congrats on retirement! I keep saying this working 8+ hours a day really messes with my time for personal projects. Glad to here, you escaped that and before age 60!!! May we all be as wise to save and lucky to succeed.
