Good morning guys, hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! What'd everyone do? I was up North at the lake for a few days with my Fiance, sister and some friends. 39 days til the wedding!

Michigan beat Florida 33-17 and moved up to #10 in the rankings.

Yesterday, about 25,000 walked across the Mackinac Bridge for the 60th An. Labor Day Bridge Walk.

@Plumbob, congratulations on retirement!

Good morning, MCF! Had a relaxing holiday weekend. My team fell to Nebraska at the end, so not everything was great... Looking forward to hosting "The U" this week.... Tried the DualPolymer on the car yesterday and the results were amazing. If I get time later, I'll post pics...

Yes, please do! Waterless wash scares me, especially with a black car. I don't think I'd ever use it but I'm curious as to what you thought of it and how it worked for you.

Thanks for the congrats on my retirement guys.

Matt that Machinac bridge looks eerily like our Tacoma Narrows bridge.
It was nicknamed "Galloping Gurdie" after the the original bridge collapsed just a few days after completion of construction. The designed caused the entire bridge deck to undulate in windy conditions.

Here ya go! Just to give you an idea, I threw in a pic of the wife's Trailblazer, even though is wasn't out in the sun. It is an 11-year-old black car that sits outside all the time.. I've been using Meguiar's waterless wash/wax for a while now, but decided to give this stuff a try. The paint looks WAY deeper! Obviously, I have no idea how long the coating will last, but it sure looks good to me! I was always a little apprehensive about waterless products, but I'll usually run through a touchless wash first, THEN finish with the product. I did that with the Trailblazer, but the car was already "clean".....

Being in architecture, I know all about that original Tacoma Narrows collapse. That's why bridges don't have solid decking and also can have some form of open meshed road surface, like the Mackinac Bridge - so wind moves through it. I've only been on two trips over the Mackinac Bridge (most recently last summer) but it is one of the coolest experiences. Last summer we also took a ferry directly below the bridge which was also very cool. Not my video but this gives you a good idea of how big the Mackinac is...

Good morning guys. Pretty chilly, 50 degrees here this morning.

@chifan, that came out really good on both vehicles!

Keeping a watch on Hurricane Irma. As of 8am this morning, Irma's a category 5 with 185 mph max sustained winds. Overnight it made its first contact with the Caribbean, passing over Barbuda about 8 hours ago and Saint Martin about 2 hours ago. Virgin Islands look to take a direct hit around Noon today. Florida has issued a state of emergency for all counties.

Mother Nature seems to be really PO'd about something for sure, just like a woman...from one extreme to another.

Such a shame to see the hurricane destruction in Texas and now pending Florida.

While these hurricanes pound the southern coasts, the Northwest is experiencing the opposite with record heat following a record winter and spring rainfall.

Wildfires are now raging out of control throughout the Northwest. Yesterday I walked out to find my black Monte and everything else covered in ash from these fires over a hundred miles away.

What's going on?

"Super Scooper" planes refilling to attack the Jolly Mountain fire near Cle Elum, WA, 120 miles east of Seattle.

Helicopters too:
