That looks great. I am going to have to try and do mine. My 1980 Monte panels are pretty worn. Also I don't like the tan interior. I can just fix and paint mine instead of finding a donor car for a different color interior. Thanks for sharing.

A+ job man looks great you wouldn't happen to know if dupicolor has a color to match the Monte Carlo maroon

 

they sell a burgandy, but i dont know how exact of a match that is. on my car the color was called claret which looks like a wine color. i had the local auto paint supplier mix some for me and used my sprayer to paint it. worked well and matched perfectly. you could try that route if you cant find it in can form. the auto paint places usually have a book with the manufacturer paint names, years, codes, models they were used on.

no problem man. you want to check there books of color codes for the right colors. i think they changed the claret for a maroon at some point. every couple of years or so they make the color a little darker or lighter and rename it. i guess just to make it that match harder to find matching interior panels.

 

I've done my interior but didn't sand it learned lesson. Planning on redoing once I'm closer to car show quality.

 

they make plastic repare epoxy now that works great. just be sure to sand were epoxy goes for good adhesion or it will just fall off when dry. i rebuilt my center console (new on was like $300.)with this stuff and it was better that the original old plastic. make sure it's locktite plastic epoxy.reg. epoxy won't stick to plastic
