I work with a girl like this... annoys the hell outta me. She has a GT and is always sayin how she don't have a "stupid lil v6". I have never raced my car but let me tell you what... my Dad was in his SuperBee and I was in Ol Red on a back road where we knew no cops ever go and we both got into it... I kept up with him pretty well, and the SuperBee has a 6.1 Hemi. When we got back to the house my Dad's jaw dropped in disbelief that I had kept up with him.

Took mine in April bone stock. Best time was a 14.95 in the 1/4. Need to get stickys for the front for the spinning.....grrrrrrrr I have mini videos from my SD card from my camera but for some reason I can't load them to my laptop like the pics.....want to go back to see difference with the few mods I made.

Let me tell you, both the V6 and V8 Mustangs from 1996-2004 are horribly underpowered and dog slow. The V6 at most came with 193HP and 225TQ in 2004, still only doing 0-60 in 9 seconds and the 1/4 mile in somewhere over 16 seconds, the GT V8 version came with 265HP and 302TQ in 2004, still only doing 0-60 in 6.1 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 14.5 seconds on average.

Those numbers are horrible compared to the Monte Carlo V6, N/A or S/C! Especially considering that the GM N/A or S/C could keep up with that GT pretty well, and if it's S/C probably pass it. And especially horrible compared to the Camaro, I won't even list off those numbers! The GT for those 8 years was pretty much a joke, not much to brag on unless they were heavily modified.

nahh not this time i didnt try. i'm still not entirely comfortable with it so i'm gonna go out to some backroads & practice a couple times before i make a fool of myself in front of people lol i put the car into 1st & nailed the gas just enough to where it wouldn't spin the tires & then shifted it after it hit 5200 rpms down the track so i'd get the full 240hp before i shifted up

the track is so much fun, everyones gotta try it. i went for the first time not to long ago, had some awful runs but a couple of good runs in there. first time at the track, first time in the monte carlo, first time to line up, i won =D that was the most important part of the day for me!
