i always wanted to get a sticker made up that said "rice only" and put it on all the ricers in town here, on their gas doors...lol

Somehow lost track of it...
I love idiots like that. And you're right, you have nothing to prove if you KNOW you are fast. And the real part of being a true motor enthusiast is knowing when you are beat, and bowing out gracefully. I am sure many of us have been beat, but that's no reason to pick a fight like that moron did. Actually, most of my friends have been made by either beating them, or being beat, and pulling off afterwards to laugh about it.
Life is too short and too precious to push yourself PAST the limit and risk your life, or worse, someone elses. That moron in the jeep could have KILLED himself. I have seen jeeps flip at 30mph on a steady turn. I guess it IS a JEEP THING.

Went to a local cruise night last night...parked next to my buddy and his SVT and these two kids (18-ish) looked at my car and said, "Dude, my grandma has a car just like this", to which I replied, "I know, she loaned to me last night after I picked her up at Loppy's (the local dive bar).. She's in the trunk, wanna talk to her?" My buddy blew soda out of his nose...It's very rareto see teenagers speechless...I thought the old guy in the '57 parked behind us was gonna wet himself.
