I finally test drove a 2006 GTO, MAAAAAAANNN those things are fast! Loud pipes and plenty of power. It was so much fun. I spun the back wheels, put up a cloud of smoke. It was great. I am surprised I did as good as I did against the goat. Sad thing is after my test drive was complete I got back in my 06 SS and it took about a week before my car felt fast again.

 

Here are some high altitude runs at 6000ft of my 2006 SS vs. my 2006 GTO, both stock during these runs...
my GTO is now Twin Turbo and just rips the paint off of the Monte...

hey u can spin ur front wheel drive monte all u want trust me ive done it in my 07 ss.. plenty smoke and road crap dont taste good when u have window down and u spun them as u turned left. lol didnt mean to thou.. but yea ive spun them anytime i like when i take off with all the torque this baby has.
