Pulled onto the road,, and came up to speed quick, caught the attention of a guy in a pontiac GTO with a 6.0L V8, took off a couple times from a roll, and he killed me in my stock 03 Monte SS. On the downhill though, he only pulled about half a car length. Was a nice guy, through the thumbs up. I felt bad, wanted to talk to the dude after but we didnt have a light, and I had to turn off. Domestics Treatin Domestics with courtesy. He prob knew I didnt have much under the hood and was surprised I kept up. Its always been said, its not the car you drive, its how you drive it.

 

yea when i got my monte a friend got a red gto 6.0 two weeks later and we rode around town and when we got on it i kept up pretty close for the beginning but he pulled away quick enough but mine is sc but it dont make a diff and like u said drivin is more important than car to a point
