Kill
I ran one of my buddies that has a 4.7L dodge ram reg. cab short bed with a CAI and exhaust.
First run I spin through most of 1st. I get up to about 70 and I am ahead of him by about 2 car legnths.
Second run I spin a little and by the time I hit 70 I am ahead of him by 3 car legnths.
I wonder how I would do against a hemi ram?

RE: Kill
The 4.7 isnt the HEMI. The HEMI they put in the rams and durangos are the 5.7L. The 4.7L is the bottom line V8 and is a sorry excuse for a V8. Not saying your kill wasnt worthy, Im just hating on Dodges.

RE: Kill
We know that the 4.7 is not a HEMI, he was wondering what he wouldagainst a HEMI, and yes the 4.7 is a sad excuse for a V8. My buddy has a 94 Sonoma with a 4.3, shift kit, LSD with 3.42 and K&N intake and he beats 4.7's all the time. Hewas also a half of truckinfront of 5.9 r/t Dakota up to about 80 and then the Dakota walked past him. The r/t spun off the line. Dodges do make some fast car but there trucks not so much. Even there hotrod of a truck Dakota R/T barely out ran a 4.3 with minor mods in close to a 1/4 mile. There only fast truck is the SRT10. When I had my 97 Sierra and I would race the HEMI I would blow there doors off, stock vs stock and my truck was rated at 255hp and 320 lb/ft of toqure 5.7 vortec, as the 5.7 HEMI was rated at 345 hp and 375 lb/ft of torque. They are gear'd to be slow and not runners but my Sierra was another question from factory
