Anyone have a guess what ill run this weekend? I have an 04 with l67 that has wizair cai,180 tstat,new plugs,3'downpipe,1.0pcm tune,1.9 rockers,and a 3.4 sc pulley?
Suggestions and tips how to get a better time would be great too!

Shift "manually", try and avoid the 2-3 upshift until 2nd gear is completely powered out, gotta keep your powerband wide haha

 

Don't do that ^

Turn traction control off, put the shifter in 3 and leave it there. Then simply work the gas pedal until you get going, then floor it after you're up around 15-20 mph so you don't just spin.

Why do you say that? i feel like i have no power in 3??

 

Because 3rd is a 1:1, it will feel that way. Putting the shifter in 3 will automatically run you through 1st, 2nd and hold you at 3rd gear (essentially keeping you out of overdrive)

 

hmmm....ill hafta try that...I had no idea it still went through 1 and 2...of course I also have never raced on a track so theres probably a difference in there somewhere...learn something new everyday haha
