Embarrassing Loss, couldn't hook up
Ah really? I was thinking it was the same engine that gave the V6 Mustang 190 hp from about 1999 to 2004.
Are you sure you wanna give props to that? The 3 / 4V yes, but the 2v...
I forgot to mention they were studded snows so that didn't help either on dry ground, lol. If there was snow it would have been a different story cause Dale is a tank in snow
.
It was just a plain cougar, nothing special with the same 3.8 they use to put in the Taurus. I see it around all the time so hopefully I can get a re-match this spring
(he wont be rematching anyone anywhere anytime...)

My car does the same thing with the snow tires on. From a stop I can light the tires up through first and a little into second. In fact, thats how I got pulled over for the first time, lighting up the snow tires from a stop sign, lol. They dont do well on dry pavement but in snow they hook really well.
What brand, size of snow tires are you guys running? There is a possibility that I might score some 16" 5 spoke star Monte wheels (identical to the one's on my 03) and I would like to use them as winter rims.
Yep, same engine. Just like our GM 3800, it needed forced induction to shine.
Sure, the 2V 4.6 is a great engine. It's got a bad reputation because of the 96-98 years (which were pretty weak), but 99+ it is a great mill. Torquey, reliable, smooth, durable, blah blah blah
