ok i was on my way home from school and i pull up to this red ligth. now this guy pulls up next to me in this buick and he looks over at me. i dont think he wanted to race at first cuz he did not give me any indication. until when the light turned green and he shot off, rigth in a buick. ok he had me for a bit on the take off, but it was no competition. now the raod ended at about a mile down to turn into a housing complex. so i had to get in front of him or i was screwed!! so i hammer on the gas ans shifted into the 2nd gear and blasted in front of him!!!! he was crazy to go come at a monte carlo like that!! lol unfortantly i raced rigth by a cop, but by the garcies of god i got away, cuz i was already going about 80 to 90!!!

 

Do you have a 3800 v6 in your Monte? Even so, you might want to think twice about racing some Buicks, especially if it's a Regal GS. Those things are great for being sleepers.

Do you know what kinda Buick he had? I know Buick shares a lot of Chevy engines...but they share none of Chevy's beautiful exterior, especially nothing as beautiful as the Monte Carlo.

 

no i did not see the type had. and yea i know they are both made by GM thats is what i ment =/ but he had me up till haft way thats when i had to get away from him. i do know his car was an older model then mine.

 

i have the 3400 v6 in my car it is completely stock right now. unfortantly, but not for long. =]

 

what kind of plans do you have for it?? just wondering!! and yes the buick regal can be a badass 4-door sleeper with the 3.8 supercharger??

I know several people with Buick Regal GS's, may not look like much but they've got the same supercharged engine as the 6th gen Monte SS's
