2006 SS Licensed pace car edition #1 of 1000
I have for sale a 2006 SS Monte Carlo with 20,600 miles. This is a NASCAR licensed edition. This car is # 001 of 1000 built. You can see the car on Ebay at

Sharp car.
I'm not familiar with this NASCAR licensed edition. Looking at it, I assume it did not leave GM's factory like this, that an aftermarket company took 1000 cars and added some options?
For my knowledge and for any interested buyers, do you have more information on this option package? Any documentation that came along with the car?

I do not have any documentation. I am trying to get it. I work for a new car dealer and we took it in trade Saturday.
What I do know is as follows:
It was not done in the factory it was done by American Specialty trucks.
American Specialties has changed names and they are now Rocky Ridge trucks. We use them and the do high quality work.
They did 1000 of them some are 06 others 07.
They came in Black and Red only.
The package was around $7000.00 when new.
They changed the wheels, exhaust system to flowmasters, Changed the interior, added fake hood scoop and some vinyl stripes and badges.
I found the following info somewhere and changed the number to my number which is 001
This is an officially licensed NASCAR 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Pace Car. There were only 1000 of these limited edition models built. This 2006 Monte Carlo SS is production number 001, converted by American Specialty Trucks. It features: 20" low profile racing wheels and tires with NASCAR logos in the center caps; NASCAR engraved liquid Billet grille; handcrafted pewter and polyurethane badging; racing hood scoop; carbon fiber dipped dash kit; custom designed NASCAR two-tone leather seating w/handcrafted pewter logos; fire red painted brake calipers; 2" Delta 40 Flowmaster Racing dual exhaust system; racing spoiler; NASCAR racing stripes; and RVIA certification.
