What years did they make the pace car edition's?

And do they plan on doing it again?

 

red 2000, black 2001, yellow 2002, blue 2003

 

did they make one in 2005

 

no 2003 was the last year

 

my buddy owns a 2005.it has a "offical pace car" decal on the side.so your telling me its a fake that someone just put the decal on to make it sell better?he bought from a chevy dealer.if thats the case id be marching back down there screaming at them.

there was one back in the 96-99 style as well, not sure what year it was...but i remember seeing one space posted it was greenish i think

 

looks like they just threw those stickers on the doors... it doesn't have the checkered flag or anything else on it indicating that it's a limited edition/pace car...

 

thats what i was thinking .the dealer sold it to him as if it was a pace car editon.what do you think he should do now?

 

It probably was an actual "official pace car" at your local racetrack.

Pace car "replica" edition and official pace car are two different things.
