Found this whil looking on "Old-Rides" web site. I've never heard of a Earnhadt Pace Car Edition ? You can see that the headrest doesn't have a "3" or a "Earhardt" logo on it. Is someone just trying to make a sale ?

i think its someone trying to make a sale, i've never seen or heard of that and also there's nothing different about it compared to the normal 01 pace car.

Some misleading, it's just a common 01 Pace Car.
There were only two years of Dale Sr, an 02, & 04.
It's a nice looking pace, but I doubt it will sell at that price.

This guy is smokin something, and needs to pass it around. He obviously is just throwing Dale Earnhardt's name out there to hopefully find a sucker willing to pay over 15 grand for a ten year old Monte.

Other than the Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet dealership licence plate frame, there is absolutely no other mention of Dale on or in that car. He didn't even try to phoney it up by putting Intimidator edition headrests or floor mats or anything. Apparantly the licence plate frame is worth $10,000 on the price of the car?

Side note: I had those Taz floor mats in my Grand Am. Mine wore out and I couldn't find that exact version of Taz floor mats anymore (angry Taz). All they have in stores around here now is a funny Taz with his tongue sticking out.

Anyway, nice pace car. But drop about $10,000 from that price and we'll talk. He can even keep his Dale Earnhardt licence plate frame. I'll save my self 10 grand and buy one off the net for a couple bucks.

 

KBB puts the value at about 10 grand but makes no consideration for pace cars or anything like that. Thats just an on paper figure tho I guess.
