Yeah I have been reading and it looks like they cut strips of the tint so that they dont cover up the heaters on the back glass. If I get it done it will definitely be professionally done.

What do you guys think? I've got a white 03 SS if that matters.

Also, if any of you have gotten your windows professionally tinted, how much did you pay? My sister tinted her Grand Prix windows herself, and the bubbles look horrendous. So it's given me second thoughts about doing it myself.
If i were u id do 35% in a monte carlo look at my pic thats 35% and at night time u cannot see in there is not much window space in a monte so at night with 20% itll be impossible to see my moms 2011 Malibu has 20% and its hard to see even though theres alot more window space. And i paid 140 professionally done with lifetime warranty.

Im in SC and I know the law is 27%. Im leaning towards going with 35% all the way around. (dont want it too dark). What is the difference between smoke and black like some have mentioned on here?

Also, does mettalic tint tend to mess with the am/fm radio?

Thanks in advance

30-35% = smoke

15% and below = black

anything about 35% is basically pointless.

Metallic tint just looks weird. Don't do it
