35% is the limit in IN too, but I didn't even think that would be worth tinting. I was also told that the back windows didn't matter, but apparently that isn't the case.

 

Each state varies, can find the laws n limits for each individual state online. I know here in NJ it's illegal to have any % tint on front windows but the side and rears can be as dark as you want. Iv had my fronts at 15% for 3 years and have never had an issue with authorities. Than agin the leiniency varies by the area your in and if the officer is having a good or bad day lol

 

Just wanted to throw this out there, my friends Ranger has 5% on top of 2.5%. It's dark.

 

Mine was 130 for any % lol

 

I figured id start with the back window just in case it turned out bad, i could take it back down with out having the side windows tinted already.

Well it did not go so well as you can see. Anyways im going to try and tint the side windows since i don't have to shrink them, honestly shouldn't be that hard, and i'll take it to a pro just to have the back window tinted.
