Hello. I just bought an 03 monte ss. Real nice body, good strut towers, good rear qtrs. But, I noticed behind the drivers side front wheel there is a rust issue. Just as the metal bends from behind the wheel to under the car and connects to some plate or something, right next to frame rail. Frame rail looks good, but the metal connecting up to the wheel well is rusty. Hope this makes sense. I cant find any info on this particular area of the vehicle. Is it a structurally important part? Thanks for any help.
