I've been looking into window tinting lately and it is something i'd like to get done to the monte. Now i've been looking at the numbers and such but i really have no idea what they look like. Like what does 35% vlt look like 20 etc etc. So what i'm asking, i know many members have had tinting done. I'd love for you to post a pic through the window and what percent tint you have so i (and others) can get a good idea of what the numbers play out to be.

After searching around NY's tint law is 75% vlt thats gotta be like nothing at all

 

75% is virtually nothing..

I have 35% on mine:



20% on the front window. wish I would have went 20% all the way around

 

I have 35 % tint

 

Depending on the light of day... 35% looks plenty dark enough...(especially at night)

Yet safe enough to keep you from getting ticketed in my opinion...

 

Agreed.. no problems here and they're pretty strict around here
