So I started sanding the primer back. I got all of the grey primer off and also scuffed up the remaining clear plastic primer so it would be ready for a re-spray of plastic primer. I went to spray it with some wax and grease remover, and after a couple wipes with a microfiber cloth, the cloth started to grab onto the paint! I noticed that the prep spray was eating away a little at the plastic primer! No I have to sand AGAIN, because there are little bits of cloth melted into my primer.
Why did this happen? What should I be using to clean the bumper before spraying it with primer that will not cause this reaction?
