Talking OK -Heres the Deal.. My TS Grille install project!!

I followed Dale3's install pics post on page 2 here pretty closely..Thanx!!
I found that buying the cheap one (cheap..yeah right) on ebay..sprayed grille gloss black and siliconed the SS to the grille black spot..it fits perfect! Then I blacked out with flat black after light sanding the part behind where the grille mesh would show through and removed the idiotic looking knights shield ..The secret to my install was to use two sided tape on ENDS of grille only cause the curve of the grille is a bit different than whats on car..I put clear silicone all around the inside of the grille and using temporary guides i taped in place (beforehand) so as to position grille properly when mounting on car..Viola!! (the tape on the ends is the key) I sponged a bit of sqeezed out caulking with watered rag..Done ..and there is now a permenant watertight seal all around the grille..thanks everyone for their input! hope this helps others...

Alright, this has turned into my latest "Gotta have one!" But looking for some opinions out there. A: Leave plain (can/should you?) B:Paint Black (Ba:Flat Bb:Semi or Bc Gloss) and lastly C:Silver outer ring or leave it black?

Kind of nervous about trying to paint the silver on fear that it won't match the nose.

Once again as before any and all opinions are welcomed. TIA

Well the best part about it, is when you buy it, you can take the stock look of it and tape it onto your car (with temporary removable tape) take a few shots and see how it looks

Then decide on painting before it's on the car for good.

Got a point there Mike, but don't worry you hair hides it well! :p

Or I can forge through and spend the day at work trying to photochop someone else's into a silver car and go from there.
