Default repaining emblems

hey there people i had a question i want to take off and repaint my red SS emblems and the red chevy bowtie on the trunk. so i am wondering how would i put the emblems back on safely. Also i had attemted to just paint one of the emblems orange one time while on the car and got hit with some overspray. so how would i get some of that off as well? i heard using a claybar would help but i dont know

in any Auto Shop, NAPA, Pep Boys, Auto Zone, I believe you can find a glue that is Specifically Made for Emblems!

The factory uses industrial dbl sided tape.
3m should work just fine.
