removing decals?

i've used foaming glass cleaner a few times. spray it on, let it sit for 5 mins then go to town, and repeat. still requires some good old fashioned elbow grease though

agree with mike....our sign shop will use goo-be-gone or standard adhiesive removers sold at the hardware.......

wd-40 on paint .. mmmhmmm glad i don't have to paint your car .

you should think about using a wax/grease remover after your done getting rid of that sticky residue

Like said above the Rubber Wheel works great, and if you plan on following with compound its not a bad idea. I found it easier to use a buffer, (warning, its still possible to burn the paint) Its pretty easy, use a wool pad and apply your compound and apply some pressure, let cool, then attack it again. Reapeat until its all gone

Just remember so matter what you do, please follow with compound after

Ever thing else is a good idea

i just used the 3M adhesive remover for autotrim works great and is made not to harm your paint

Also known as an Eraser Wheel. They work wonders
