If you're going to resort to sharp edges, get a plastic putty knife or something.....

I think the above methods will work fine! Goo off sounds like a good plan to me.

you'd be suprised, they're pretty soft, its like one of those white erasers we all used back in school, well unless you were smart enough not to need an eraser, come to speak of it, i dont think i every needed one..lmao!! jk

we had a guy use one on a fiberglass helmet one time and it didn't hurt anything, he was just worried about it heating up too much, but it didn't do any damage

Default .removing adhesive...

...I have used kerosene fuel in the past But I would recommend the 3M product
before the fuel. I recently replaced the body-side-moldings on my 96 S10.
The kerosene fuel did great but I still had to use that Old tried and true product
called ...Elbow Grease. Clean it off , then wash real good. You may want to repolish those areas.
Some of that stuff can strip any polish off.
I worked in a body shop back in 05 and all of those guys used the Norton wheel
that has been brought up. It scuffs the paint at worst but it works.
Good Luck

Lighter fluid and hair dryer does not sound like a good combination.

I'd also recommend the 3m product.

It actually does work. You use the hair drier to peel off the decal and then you put the lighter fluid on a rag to wipe the residue off....I don't see where it would be a hazard...you aren't using the the drier on the lighter fluid (I hope!). Look at the pics of my car with the flags then without them and tell me it doesn't work.

WD40. Eats the glue off decals pretty well. I have also used goo-gone and a couple of others, but keep going back to WD-40 for some reason.

I've always used WD40 too to get rid of sticker type stuff

LOL, who knew it could be so useful.
