I think it would look pretty cool on a blue car, but for your monte, I dont think the color would look right. I dont know what state you live in, but I would almost bet its illegal here in PA.

wow that look pretty cool can you paint the reflector in the headlight blue? what do you use? but painting the whole thing like that is illegal, theyll get you for impersonation of emergency vehicle>> big ol deal to "them"

make sure the paint is shiney and reflective. my cousin put his in the oven and painted the inside "smoked color". they look cool when the car is sitting in the driveway, but when he turns his lights on threres no reflection, just the lightbulb. maybe it would work with hid's.
fyi, any blue/red color on the front of a non-gov car is ILLEGAL.

well i just painted inside black. and there is definitley no way of saving that molding, it covers up right where u have to pry them apart. im going to have to dig around the shop tomorrow and see if i can find a rubber seal from an old door or something and make my own to dress it up and fill in the gaps.
i also screwed up one light pretty bad haha, its functional and can't tell the damage until you pop the hood. i melted the top black housing pretty good and it saged around the reflector on top, if i didnt have eyebrows painted on you might see it through the lens hehe... kinda worried it off set it and will make it look uneven tho
im going to have to buy a new set of the black headlights with my tax refund for sure!! which sucks cause i was gonna use that for a spoiler... but i refuse to drive around with damaged parts on my car, even if its unseen. i know its not right/perfect

lol, i think you pre-heat the oven to 350. then do one light at a time for 5 minutes. im sure you could check a 4 to be on the safe side. its just to melt the sealant so you can seperate the two parts.
DIY gone bad. lol it happens to everyone trying to save a few bucks.

Are you putting projectors in you headlights? I am not sure what your painting but pics would be great. I am starting my projector retrofit in a couple weeks when I decide wether I am going single or dual projector beams. I also have black headlight myself.
