I was able to figure this out. It turns out that you have to remove the quarter window to get at 3 little screws holding the trim piece to the body. What a pain. Anyway this will hopefully help someone in the future.

Now am in need of the same trim pieces that everyone here is looking for. Can't believe that these are that hard to find.
