My car is a black 2006 Monte Carlo SS..hoping to add some pictures soon but new to the site.

Looking at getting new headlights, but could use some opinions//information on a few things.

From what I have seen other users put on and talk about, I have found these that I like.

Anzo
Depo
and ebay also has some ccfl ones that appear similar to the above but not sure on the quality if anyone has purchased these?

Also as far as HID what do most do for this and/or where is the best place to purchase them?
Also see some talking about chrome blinker bulbs from ebay to remove the yellow look, anyone have any more details on these or what bulbs specifically?

Purchased a set of Anzo headlights...
However still wondering about HID options, as well as the chrome turn signal bulb I have seen mentioned..

 

hey i can help a little.. alot of people buy HIDs from DDmtunning.com. its like 50$ with shipping and a lifetime warrenty. and i THINK those chrome bulbs are illegal but i cant remember. i do remember seeing them at one point.. if you know where to find them post it for sure!

 

i havent really heard alot of good stuff about the projector headlights made for our cars (hint why i got the depos) i bought the chrome bulbs from ebay and was very disappointed so i got a set of silverstars. they look bluish instead of amber.


DDMtuning has about the best deals for HIDS

 

i have the chrome bulbs, they're not illegal because they still light up orange, i agree get HID's from ddmtuning.

 

Which bulbs looked bluish? The chrome or the silverstar?

What's your opinion of the chrome bulbs?

 

The silverstars look blue then light amber

For HIDs, I assume that your ANZO headlights are projectors? So you just need to get HID bulbs + ballasts and put them in. Use what the others were saying when it comes to that.

 

I would have went with Depo, but didn't like the style as much, so will see how these pan out..

The stealth bulbs seem to be a great idea, exactly what i was looking for, even found a coupon for 10 off to that link so they were only like 22 with shipping

Yes they are projectors, and ill look more into the hid bulbs and ballasts on ddm

Also, what bulb type, wattage, would be best, and would an hid harness, error eliminator or adaptor cables be needed?
