Man, That really sucks. Are there any businesses around where you were parked that may have caught it on video? Some guy backed his truck into the rear of my Monte (minimal damage) and it was caught on the store's video but we couldn't pull a legible license plate number from it. Your luck might be different and you can pursue it as a hit-n-run through a license plate number.

 

^^Mike has a god point. I used hospital parking lot camera when something like this happened to my car. I worked there. Didn't get anything from it but knew who did it. Anyways, we are living in a society who cares, but only of themselves. Low-Lifes.

 

that's a lot of damage for a hit and run....something like that had to make some sort of noise to attract some attention. good luck with the fix

 

OH, make sure that H-n-R gets reported. That is a lot of damage.

 

This is always sad to read, seems its becoming more and more common too either childish people keying cars, or vandalizing them and hit and runs. Its sad really sad. I would be so irrate.

 

is a hit and run covered under comprehensive coverage??? somebody sideswiped me about a month ago but I didnt report it because I wasnt sure if Progressive would cover it and I didnt want my rate to go up just because. I only have comprehensive and liability I unfortunately cant afford collision it double my insurance now just because im a 21 year old african american male! pisses me off but oh well
