Well, it happened again. Some idiot hit my car. I just got off of work and pulled in behind this guy waiting for gas and turned off my car. I was dinking around with my coat then when I looked up I see reverse lights. I was like "you better be paying attention." Of course he wasn't, as I see his back end get closer to my car. I laid on the horn and he just kept coming. It was a 5mph impact, luckily for him, and it didn't do a ton of damage to my car. His bumper is dented, mine came out unscathed, however the bumper filler and bumper shock absorber need to be replaced and there's a scuff mark on the headlight bucket.

 

Thats BS. Make him have it fixed and fixed with quality parts. It seems sometimes we can't have anything good for long. Good luck on repairs and the idiot paying for it. Hopefully he will.

 

id do the same as stated above, make him pay for it, sure it's not a lot but it's your car that you take time on and put money into, make sure it's just as good after as it was before.

Sounds similar what happened to me a few weeks ago.

 

did you get his insurance or did you get his licens plate number to give to the police to get a hit and run or some thing to get it fixed?

 

It wasn't a hit and run. And I did get his info and filed a claim with my insurance company. I won't hear back from his insurance company until Monday.

 

Freaking idiots! That sux big time!

 

Damn. I hate to hear stuff like that. On my Chevelle the gas door is under the rear bumper. I always look if theres someone behind Cuase I'm standing between my bumper & his. Sorry to hear that MonteMan.

 

People are just freakin' stupid as hell any more. I used to love driving, now it's just a pain in the *** alot of the time.... Too many gadgets for morons to take their mind off what they SHOULD be doing!!!
Good luck getting fixed, I'de be pissed if someone hit my '65 SS Impala too!
