1996 Drivers side window is falling out of the track, anybody have a breakdown of the door? its not in haynes...

i had this problem a few times on my 99 pontiac. The track/motor that controlled the windows kept breaking, well, the small plastic piece that held the window kept breaking. Only like $40 each thoguh, but still a PITA.

 

At least I can get an idea of what this might be....

 

pull the door panel off and soak the track and ALL the moving parts with PB blaster. my '96 jumped out of the door once and my '97 had issues as well, everything gets crapped up and rusted up in the window mechinisim. lubing everything up should help ALOT
