I have a 1995 Monte that i have had since brand new.I am a Chevy tech at dealer in Chicago.I was going to install new drivers door hinges when i discovered rust thrugh at the top hinge area on the body side.I had our area Chevy zone manager inspect my car and he agreed to pay for half of the repair.Well i got the car back from our body shop last week and they did a great job.They told me the rust was so bad that when they pulled the windshield the bottom edge was rusted very badly.They cut out all the rust and fit in a new "A" pillar section and instaled new door hinges.Has any other owners of 1995-1999 Monte Owners had this problem?
