Take fishing wire, and get some 3m adhesive remover. Spray it on, use the wire like floss and slowly take it off. Mine came off with just the 3m stuff.
Put it back on with double sided tape. Im sure auto glue works fine but if you ever decide to debadge or sell the car, you wont be too happy when the badges don't come off easily.

How do you best use two-sided to reapply the emblems. The "monte carlo" badges are a complex script and I imagine it would be hell to cut the tape to match the badge, but that is the only solution I can think of. Is the a trick, or just a lot of nit-picky work?
I took the strip of double sided tape, and just cut out a bunch of tiny rectangles to put in the bigger areas, but make sure they dont stick out. Then just peel off the backing, the whole thing doesnt have to be covered.
