Default Changing pinstriping color...

Well i wanted to completely remove the red pinstriping on my monte but i noticed there are scratches/imperfections due to trimming the ends of the pinstripes so now i'm going to change from red pinstriping to black to compliment my tinted taillights and reverse lights. any recommendations? Does anyone know if pep boys has good pinstriping material?

Well my advice is to get the painted on if you KNOW that you want them. If you just want to try it out, get a roll from like some auto store and just try it out.

Before all this, to get the scratches out, try using some rubbing compound on the area to make them less visible.

thanks...i will try the rubbing compound first as I would rather have no pinstripes. I will let you know how it turns out.

Yeah, the scratches shouldn't be all that deep unless the guy cutting them can't hold his hand steady.

I love my pinstripes, they're just a lighter shade of grey that really makes the accents pop.
