Default Can't decide on paint, All Black vs. White?

I have a 98 Z34 and I'm changing the color on it. The paint job is going to be about... $1700 but I'm going to prime it myself to get the price down a bit.

Other than that though, I can't decide on what paint I want, I'm stuck on 2 styles and I would like some ideas or input at the very least.

I was thinking something like this

But instead of the red stripes, I would have them black with the tinted tail lights and tinted head lights.

and most likely black rims as well.

OR!

Have an all black (MAYBE) Nighthawk Black Pearl

Or just a regular dark black with a very high gloss.

What color is your car now, and what shape is your car in?

Black is probably the hardest color to paint, shows every imperfection really well.

I was going to say something along the lines of that. White is much easier to take care of and doesn't absorb the heat as much as a black car if it's going to be a daily driver or sit outside for long periods of time.

Well it's going to be done professionally, I'm going to take it to Houston, Texas (I'm in San Antonio) to a relative's shop where they normally work on luxury cars for the most part.

It's going to be $1700 (at a discount).
But the car is the original red, has a few minor dents on the side, a scratch from being keyed... and the paint is chipping in some areas.
but what I'm trying to say is that basically it'll come out looking great.

Yeah it's going to be a daily driver, I had an 07 Charger but I sold it to a relative because it going boring really fast, everyone where I live has one and I think my stock Monte is a bit faster than a regular Charger.
So I want to use this money to turn this into a project car and see what I can do with it.

I was thinking about the Heat factor as well... since it's black leather and I live in Texas....
but I have always loved a nice black with very high gloss.
